Hi Friends!
This is your Hard Money Lender in Tucson and the Southern Arizona area, Billy A with news from my friend Herman Thordsen Nationwide Mortgage (www.lendinglaw.com).
Here are some of the headlines in the report:
- Another interpretation of Loan Officer Compensation as applied to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Rules. (Herman has MLO agreements that we believe will pass muster with the CFPB).
- The Dodd Frank Rules on seller financing of Single Family 1-4 homes.
- Four things the California Bureau of Real Estate can and cannot do.
- A dual agency case out of Malibu, California where CB was both the listing and selling broker. A lesson to learn. Read carefully because this affects all brokers were they represent the seller and the buyer in the same transaction.
- When transferring real property to a trust in California be careful how it is done or the property owner may find themselves getting reassessed. Imagine a property with a current assessed value of $75,000 being put into a trust incorrectly and then being reassessed for taxes to current value of $700,000.
- WILLIAM BARRY BLYTHE, 67 of Southern California arraigned and pleads guilty to bankruptcy and income tax fraud due to defrauding homeowners and lenders.
- California Traffic tickets cost more because of the penalties. Read on as to why. It pays to hire legal counsel to fight it. If you win your insurance rates do not jump.
- Colorado Department of Real Estate changes rules on Seller financing.
- Delaware updates mortgage regulations
- Utah amends trustee foreclosure rules.
- Washington State modifies its foreclosure rules.
