Autumn Greetings Friends,
It has been said, there are three kinds of relationships: a) Reason, b) Season, and c) Lifetime.
Well, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge and share a few things about two friends – young men whom I have had the privilege to hang out with, develop meaningful personal relationships with, and occasionally learn from them, as well as share my own knowledge and wisdom about a thing or two with respect to faith, life and business because I’ve known them since they were “pups.”
They are: John Rallis and Steve Stratigouleas. Because we are in the same ‘cultural tribe,” it was, and still is, a pleasure and joy to see them and their circle of buddies grow up in our Greek Community. Both come from fantastic families that instilled an immigrant’s attitude to succeed in this American Experience which our parents brought us to. Yet, in order for an entrepreneur to have idea and the dream realized, three components are required:
- The first is passion. Both John and Steve have had a passion for music from a young age.
- Next is talent. In order to put on such a large scale event for something like this, one must have experience and inherent talent, to not only organize, but believe it can be done.
- The final component is money. If you cannot promote your vision clearly and be willing to put up the resources, your vision remains merely a hobby.
John and Steve, along with the other Co-founders of The Dusk Music Festival, have collaborated on those very components, including the one significant attribute our cultural tribe is known for: “Philotomo,” aka giving back to the community.
Recently, I attended a wedding. During the reception, I sat with John. He reminded me just how old I am as most of the conversation was dominated by John questioning my daughters about the bands to consider for selection, and I sat there clueless. Wow! Ouch! “Talk about feeling older”
Below is the link for the Dusk Music Festival and my heart felt blessings and support of these two young entrepreneurs who have taken their passion and get ready to launch their dream for the community to experience another outstanding cultural event in the Old Pueblo.
If you go to The Dusk Music Festival website and click through to purchase tickets, enter my personal promotional code: VIPWORK to get 30% off your ticket between now and October 17th.

That’s it for this time! I hope to see you there!
Blessings
